“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”Rumi
With over 16 years of clinical experience, Myrtho Gardiner brings a warm, integrative approach to therapy that honors each person's unique cultural background and life story. His practice draws on psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and narrative frameworks to help clients find clarity, resilience, and authentic connection.
As a PhD candidate at the City University of New York (CUNY), Myrtho's research focuses on trauma and healing among formerly incarcerated individuals — work that deepens his clinical understanding of systemic barriers to mental wellness.
